Fives Syleps designs, produces and integrates meat quality measuring devices. Their vocation is to valorize as soonest as possible the raw material in the transformation process of meat products.

Connected to production management computer systems, these devices remain essential elements for traceability processes in pig slaughter and processing units.

The Lean Fat Sensor, better known as CGM, is the result of close collaboration between UNIPORC OUEST, the Ministry of Industry and Fives Syleps. In France, CMM classifies more than 95% of pork carcasses. The CGM was one of the pillars of the continuous improvement of breeding methods and was crucial in gaining access to the levels of excellence and control attained by the French industry today.
